KDF sponge is added to provide additional chemical removal capability, as well as, protecting the internal environment of your carbon filter. Perhaps the primary and most important job of a carbon filter is to remove chlorine (smell and all) from your water. By doing so there is no longer any chemical present to fight bacteria within your water or the filter itself. KDF offers protection internally to prevent the growth of algae, fungi, mold and bacteria.

KDF also provides protection against dissolved heavy metals, including iron, lead, chromium, mercury and others. This media also begins to work on the minerals in your water, changing the structure of Calcium and Magnesium, so they pass through the plumbing of your home instead of adhering and collecting, causing mineral build-up.

As said before, our systems were designed with one thing in mind, Arizona. Regardless of where you live in this beautiful state, you have issues with water hardness. We offer the best salt and non-salt options for this too!
Non-Salt Conditioning Tank
Our conditioning tanks (non-salt) use a process called Nucleation Assisted Crystallization (NAC) to control the Calcium and Magnesium within the water, without stripping these healthy minerals out of the water. The NAC process causes these minerals to transform from their normal charged state into tiny micron-crystals so they no longer adhere to plumbing surfaces and hard surfaces throughout your home.
Our proprietary blended NAC media is also resilient at high temperatures, a major improvement from previous versions of similar medias. This process allows the healthy minerals to remain in the water, while severely reducing the damage they can cause around your home. Salt Softeners
Our programable valve technology inputs the specific hardness within your area and your water usage, allowing for customization, rather than pre-set factory settings that use more water and more salt than necessary. Our softening systems use upgraded, uniform resin allowing for the most efficient water flow, again maximizing your system’s effectiveness without wasting additional water.
